    Supply Chain Manager

    We are partnering with a leading organisation known for its excellence in delivering best in class solutions within the manufacturing and engineering sector. Our client is seeking a talented Supply Chain Manager to join their team and drive procurement strategies that support their continued success and growth.

    As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the procurement of goods and services critical to project delivery. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery, ultimately contributing to the company's overall success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the procurement team to ensure compliant and timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and utilize contractual tools to protect the company's interests.
    • Develop and execute cost-saving plans while ensuring adherence to procurement processes.
    • Collaborate with the Quality function to maintain supplier approvals and uphold product requirements.
    • Drive the communication and implementation of the company's supply chain strategy within your portfolio of suppliers.
    • Develop supplier capability and onboard new suppliers aligned with the supply chain strategy.
    • Provide essential information to support the Sales team during bidding processes.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Proven experience in procurement within manufacturing/engineering environments.
    • Ability to source from Bills of Materials or Scopes of Work.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing cost reduction projects.
    • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
    • Leadership experience preferred.
    • Previous work in safety-critical industries desirable.
    • Familiarity with ERP platforms advantageous.
