    Job Opening: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
    Location: Loughborough
    Compensation: Up to £46,000
    Shift Pattern: 12-hour Shifts, Alternating Days and Nights on a 3-week Rolling Schedule

    We are in search of a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a reputable FMCG company situated in Loughborough. As a prominent recruitment agency, we are partnering with our client to fill this crucial position within their firm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Flexibility and Safety: The ideal candidate will need to work flexibly to meet business needs and adhere to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to ensure a secure work environment.
    • Subject Matter Expertise: This role requires a dedication to continuously learning and adapting to advancing technologies, becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all aspects of Manufacturing and Packaging machinery.
    • Maintenance and Repair: Proficient in diagnosing faults, repairing, and maintaining process supply equipment and production-related auxiliary machinery. This covers Planned, Preventative, Predictive, and Reactive maintenance on sophisticated Mechanical, electro/Mechanical systems, and process machinery, incorporating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls within a pharmaceutical setting.
    • Drive for Improvement: Actively seeking improvements in safety, GMP, and efficiency within the setup. Leading Conditional Assessments and Criticality Assessment efforts to reduce costly breakdowns, elevate production, optimize equipment, and execute strategies to enhance overall safety and dependability of plant and production operations.

    Requirements:

    • A solid track record in a similar role in an FMCG or associated sector.
    • Technical expertise in maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis in intricate machinery and apparatus.
    • Hands-on experience with PLCs, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls.
    • Proactive problem-solving approach and a commitment to continuous enhancement.
    • Capability to work in a varied shift system involving 12-hour shifts combining days and nights.

    This is a remarkable opportunity for an individual aiming to create a substantial difference in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. The chosen candidate will be offered a competitive salary of up to £48,000 based on qualifications and experience. Perks include: a 6.5% bonus, occasional overtime paid at x1.5 or double rate for night shifts, and 17 days of Flexible holidays.
