Job purpose


Your role is to support the Assembly Department in ensuring that Products and Instrumentation are produced to the highest degree of accuracy and as efficiently as possible.


Electrical - Assembly of PCBs, Electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, Optical & Lens assemblies, final instrumentation using equipment such as Soldering Irons, Light electrical tool, and a range of hand tools.

Further path to Optical alignment, instrument test and calibration along with final product stages including sign off and packaging.


You will be required to assist the business in ensuring compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives whilst maintaining a high level of personal 5S and housekeeping standards.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:


  • Correct Assembly & Processing of products within agreed timescales.
  • Provide status of Work Orders and report issues when they arise.
  • Support CI Projects to improve product flow through the business.
  • Flexibility to work between different functions and adapt when required.

  • Dexterity: Ability to perform manual tasks with precision & skill.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate understanding of what has been communicated.

Experience, Professional Qualifications and Personal Requirements:

  • Able to use Microsoft Office Programs/O36
  • Assembly Experience advantageous
  • A high level of commitment, initiative, and selfmotivation are essential in this role.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively both within the immediate team and beyond to other Departments.
