    Purpose of Role: To be a part of a significant transformation programme within the journey of Weir across the HR, Finance & IS&T. Supporting the TMO Finance Partner with: managing the monthly financials, preparing budgeting & forecasting inputs, value case modelling/tracking and business case preparation for the Performance Excellence Programme and WBS organisation. Preparation of analysis, modelling and slides for presentations to Senior Leadership, in addition to monthly reporting to VP Transformation. To support the TMO Finance Partner on ensuring there is a link from vision to value and the drive of benefits realisation against committed targets.

    Key Responsibilities:
    · Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparation of quarterly forecasts, detailed bottom-up budget plans and provision of variance analysis thereon.
    · Programme Cost Management: Work with Finance Partner TMO to implement and maintain financial controls.

    Prepare monthly reporting of actuals vs budget/forecast and work with the Programme Administrator and other finance teams to ensure relevant accruals/adjustment journals are booked each month to ensure accurate reporting of programme/WBS costs.

    · Financial Modelling: Support Finance Partner TMO to; build value case models to enable easy understanding of the proposal, tracking and change request impact assessments capability.

    To support the businesses with preparation of financials for business case proposals ready for senior level review.
    · Overall Programme Reporting: In collaboration with the Finance Partner TMO, assess change impacts to value case, develop and report on KPI's and track benefits across the organisation via HR and Finance systems and personnel.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
    · Demonstrable ability to model, analyse and interpret large volumes of financial data, identify anomalies, trends and drawing conclusions, including the identification of risks and opportunities. Good commercial awareness and business insights,
    · Good relationship management skills and stakeholder engagement with an ability to develop strong professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders and comfortable interfacing at all levels
    · Highly motivated with strong; organizational, problem solving and analytical skills, keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Able to work under pressure and at pace and to take initiative and responsibility for continuous improvement..
    · A Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent with 3-5 years' proven experience in a commercial finance role.
