    Therole:

    The Senior DevOps Engineerrole is crucial to the successful delivery of Alliants products andservices by designing a secure robust and efficient infrastructureimplementing effective processes andautomation.

    Reporting to the Senior DevOpsArchitect the purpose of this role is todesign implement manage anddeliver technical support services to internalstakeholders/projects and Alliantscustomers.

    This role requires youtoprovide expertconsultancy regarding current and future state environmentsplatforms and technical strategy to internal stakeholders/projectsand Alliants end customers as well asto protect and where possibleincrease revenues and margins relating to Support services orConsultancy.

    Some keyareas youll be workingon:

    SupportingAlliants Products andSolutions

    • Workclosely with other engineering and technical teams in deployingtheir code providing operational support for new and existingsites/software and debugging productionissues
    • Designing implementing managingmaintaining and optimising the infrastructure and environments forAlliants proprietary products and the tools used by Alliants forbusiness optimisation
    • Identifying opportunitiesfor and implementing automation of the above whereappropriate
    • Documenting work and committingassets to source control
    • Receive manage andresolve service desk tickets JIRA tickets and working toSLAs
    • Implementing and managing effectivemonitoring solutions and as necessary performancereports
    • Ensuring best practice and/or regulatedsecurity standards aremet

    SupportingAlliantsCustomers

    • Designingimplementing managing maintaining supporting and optimising theinfrastructure environments systems applications tools andcommunications of Alliants clients where we providehosting/environment support or applicationsupport
    • Ensuring support to clients meets orexceeds the requirements of theSLA/SOW/Contract/Arrangement
    • Creatingperformance reports and providing accompanying analysis/advice forinternal stakeholders and automating these in collaboration withour Support team
    • Creating reports for clientsbased on the requirements of the commercial arrangements forproducts or support (environment and application) and automatingthese in collaboration with our Supportteam

    SupportingAlliants Employees andAssociates

    • Designingimplementing managing maintaining supporting and optimising theinfrastructure environments systems applications tools andcommunications Alliants uses to run itsbusiness
    • Implementing and managing effectivemonitoring solutions and as necessary performancereports
    • Managing and optimising the cost ofAlliants hosting environments
    • Researching andadvising the business on solutions tools and technologies forproducts andservices

    EssentialExperience:

    • Expertisein managing and configuring AWS environments including RDS ECS(Fargate) EC2 VPC Elastic Beanstalk S3 API Gateway andLambda
    • Expertise in automated provisioning andconfiguration management technologies such asTerraform
    • Proficiency in containerisationtechnology such as Docker
    • Proficiency insetting up and maintaining continuous integration systems as wellasdeployment pipelines andenvironments
    • Experience in building robustdesigns with no single points of failure at every level fromnetwork to application and databaseservers
    • System management and diagnosticsincluding *nix command line familiarity andBash
    • Securing and documenting systems from anInfoSec perspective
    • Experiencewithmanaging multiple environments for multipleproducts
    • Experience withGit
    • Experience with Python or JS to supportautomation
