Introduction:


We are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a permanent and full-time position based in Nottingham.

Our client is one of the leading training providers in the East Midlands. Your responsibility will involve the identification anddevelopment of strategic business relationships with predominantly small, medium, and large levy organisations. You will also sell a portfolio of apprenticeship programmes.


Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating new apprenticeship opportunities for non-levy, small, and large levy organisations
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline to achieve continuous business growth
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of training's sales strategy
  • Providing updated reports as required
  • Identifying key employers or employer groups and working with marketing to target them effectively
  • Undergo necessary training to develop professionally and stay up to date with current practices and legislation within the sector
  • Maintain effective relationships with all internal colleagues to ensure services are delivered to an excellent standard, maximising opportunities to provide added value programmes and services
  • Hit and exceed targets in sales all the time

Experience and Skills:

As a Business Development Manager, you will need the following to be successful:

  • Experience working within skills business development or apprenticeship, lead generation, and sales
  • Expertise in DAS accounts and experience engaging with medium and large organisations
  • Knowledge of funded programmes, FE sector, and apprenticeship standards
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to hit business targets and goals
