Description
Quality InspectorWe are currently working with one of Northern Irelands leading manufacturing companies and assisting them with their recruitment for a Quality Inspector Our client has undergone considerable expansion in recent years and continues to invest in both its people & technology.
You will be responsible for a variety of daily duties to ensure optimum quality levels are achieved and maintained throughout our engineering and shopfloor manufacturing processes.
Ensure products produced meet customer requirements and ensure quality control systems are maintained throughout manufacture.Day to day responsibility for working with staff in Quality and Technical departments, while progressing jobs with engineers and machine operators.
Monitor the quality of incoming parts and raw materials to ensure they are up to standard3rd level mechanical / manufacturing or quality engineering qualification or QBE
~ A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Quality Inspector & control in an engineering manufacturing environment.
~ Strong knowledge of special processes (e.g. welding, painting) including WPS.
~ Demonstrable experience of using value added quality principles and facilitating improvement throughout the quality assurance process, by utilising practical problem-solving techniques such as 5Y, 8D, cause and effect analysis etc.
