    Description

    Your mission

    As an iOS engineer, your mission is to design, develop and maintain high-performance scalable and secure features using the latest iOS technologies, providing the best app experience for our users.

    You will play a key role in shaping the future of the mobile applications, collaborate with designers and backend developers, and you will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems and contribute to the evolution of major products that already have a huge and important customer scale. You will also iterate on the existing apps to ensure we're providing the best user journey in the industry.

    This is a 3-day-in-the-office-hybrid role where you will work with the team at our office in Sustainable Ventures, Europe's biggest climate tech hub. We will be paying £55k - £65k for this role plus equity in the business. It's an 8 min walk from Waterloo and an energising space for anyone working on climate change

    Your profile

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • At least 5 years experience as iOS engineer and at least 2 years using SwiftUI.
    • Solid understanding of POP application design.
    • Strong experience with SwiftUI and latest OS versions.
    • Strong understanding of latest Swift concurrency framework.
    • Strong architectural knowledge ( SOLID principles ).
    • Strong attitude towards testing, TDD and BDD principles.
    • Proven track record of building applications or examples with portfolio
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
    • Proactive attitude and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
    • A commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within scope.
    • A passion for staying updated on the latest iOS mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
    Bonus skills to have:
    • Experience in frameworks like RealityKit and AR.
    • Experience towards complex problem solving and maths issues.
    • Good understanding of common data structures problems.
    • Experience with data storage solutions on iOS.
