    Description

    The opportunity

    This is a unique opportunity to join the Just Eat Design Systems team, with the role focused primarily on building new components to be used by application teams, contributing to our documentation in order to improve consumers experience, collaborating closely with designers to help improve our mobile strategy and working alongside application teams to implement new components or design tokens into their systems.

    You will be working alongside a senior iOS engineer, designers, and will have the opportunity to learn new skills & technology, as well as working with our Android & Web side of team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, build, and maintain the company's design system in our iOS applications.
    • Develop high-quality, scalable and reusable components to be used by multiple iOS application teams.
    • Collaborate with UI/UX to turn designs into reusable components
    • Contributing to code-reviews, merging teams pull requests, and ensuring releases through our release process
    • Collaborate with external teams to understand their needs from the Design Systems.
    • Reviewing beta application feedback and highlighting relevant issues needing improvements / fixes
    • Knowledge of accessibility, in order to help improve our applications for users with accessibility needs.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with Swift
    • Experience with unit and snapshot testing
    • Previous experience working with CI/CD platforms
    • An understanding of code design for efficiency and readability
    • Able to collaborate with others and pair-program with engineers
    • High willingness to learn and improve technical and soft skills
