    Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role as a Web Designer WordPress Designer/Developer located in Birmingham, with flexibility for some remote work.

    As a Web Designer WordPress Designer/Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress.

    Your main tasks will involve creating wireframes and mockups, customising themes and templates, implementing responsive designs, and ensuring the overall functionality and performance of websites.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their requirements and deliver innovative and results-driven web solutions.
    QualificationsProficiency in web design tools and technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong experience with WordPress, including custom theme development and plugin customisationKnowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices for responsive web designExperience in designing and optimising websites for search engine visibility and performanceUnderstanding of website analytics and ability to make data-driven design decisionsMaintaining, expanding, and scaling our current portfolio of websitesComplete monthly plugin maintenance on WordPress CMSExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesExperience with e-commerce platforms and familiarity with PHP and MySQL is a plus
