    Description
    Senior Global Claims Analyst

    Reporting to :
    Global Head of Claims
    Full Time

    SiriusPoint is a global underwriter of insurance and reinsurance.

    Bermuda-headquartered and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (SPNT), we work as 'One SiriusPoint', to apply expertise and underwrite risks across our four operational areas - International Insurance, North American Insurance, Global Accident and Health, and Global Reinsurance.

    We have underwriting hubs in Bermuda, London, New York, Stockholm Zurich and Li è ge, and licenses to write Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life, Accident & Health (LA&H) insurance and reinsurance globally.

    As Senior Global Claims Analyst you will technically manage an assigned workload of global Property and Casualty reinsurance claims, ensuring all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory guidelines, while applying Company and Best Practices.

    This position will report to the Global Head of Claims.
    Verify coverage on all reported losses and establish claim files on the claim system
    Evaluate and verify contractual obligations to pay respective claims. Prepare reports for management on assigned accounts, where appropriate Prepare ceded notices and/or proofs, where appropriate
    Review and act upon, on a daily basis, the incoming mail/correspondence for assigned accounts

    • Strong experience in a related claims role
    Fluent – English, other languages preferred
    Excellent verbal and writing skills
    Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Strong Excel skills are a must.
    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
    Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems as they relate to claims handling.
