UK Publisher Sales Director


Our Publisher Sales Directors are recognised as the best in the industry and are essential to the ongoing growth of our business.

You would be responsible for the successful acquisition of large Enterprise news publishers across the UK.


Responsibilities:


  • Generate new business and manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate
  • Understand clients' organisation and develop relationships with multiple points of contact within a publisher (from Business Development to Editorial to Product)
  • Gain excellent understanding of digital technology, video, and revenue ecosystem to be able to explain product benefits within this context
  • Work closely with Country Manager to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Work closely with Publisher Sales Success Manager to help build and execute the sales process, organisational mapping and coordination of commercial modelling and negotiation.
  • Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our products and technology
  • Work closely with our Account Managers to manage longterm relationships with our clients
  • Proactively seek market feedback on the Taboola platform and work with Taboola's Product team to help develop marketleading functionality that meets the needs of our potential clients

Requirements:


  • 8+ years in a key sales position, preferably selling solutions to UK clients, with C-Suite presence and experience
  • Significant experience in structuring and negotiating intricate deals these are longterm deals with a long sales cycle (up to six months), responding to publishers' needs and goals and creating the potential for mutuallybeneficial partnerships
  • Experience mentoring people and paving the way for excellent performance
  • Experience independently build, pursue and close a large pipeline of leads
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to management
  • Technologically Savvy ability to learn what is needed to support deal's successful implementation and optimization
  • Experienced in building a great sales culture and team camaraderie
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment and consistently learn, adapt and develop.
