IT Support Engineer (Finance Industry)

Location:
Derby


Salary:
£ £35000


We are a leading recruitment agency looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well-known finance organisation in Derby.

This role will be responsible for providing reliable technical support to internal and external customers, and for resolvingtechnical issues.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for a range of IT issues in the finance industry
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software and peripherals
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Set up accounts for new users
  • Train users on the use of new software and hardware

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience in the finance industry
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP and DNS
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Network Administration
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
