Shift Leader


Salary:
£11.30 per hour


Post Holder Responsible To:
Retail Manager or Team Leader of the allocated outlet.


Location:

Leicester Services Partnership has multiple outlets across the University of Leicester (UoL) campus, you are required to work at whichever outlet has a shift available.


Working hours:
Full time: 35 hours. Part time From 25/30 hours per week. Hours include lates, evenings, weekends and early shifts.
Early shifts are approx. 7.30am-3.30pm, lates are approx. 3.30pm -11.30pm.

The role:

We have some amazing opportunities available for Catering Shift Leaders to join the Leicester Services Partnership (LSP) team.


We are looking for individuals who have great people skills, are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, are able to work as part of a team and have a 'can do' attitude.


Previous experience in a catering role is essential as you will be required to draw on your experiences to successfully lead a shift and manage a shift.


As a Catering Shift Leader, you will assist in preparing and serving food, drinks and snacks for our customers, whilst adhering to excellent food hygiene standards and providing outstanding customer service.

You will also be required to open up and close down at the start and end of a shift, as well as lead the team successfully during your shift.


You will also be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness in the area you work and have knowledge of our products, be able to promote our services and upselling wherever possible.


We are looking for multiple Shift Leaders to join our team based at the University of Leicester campus on a permanent basis, _
this is not a casual role_
.


Please be advised that this position will require you to work evenings, lates and weekends.

Schedule:

7.5 hour shifts, which include a 30 minute break.


The catering service is open 7 days a week, so you will be expected to cover the shifts during the week as well as at weekends.
