    OA Group are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join our client based in Harlow on a temporary to permanent basis.

    This is a great chance for a long-term opportunity with a reputable company

    My client are looking for someone with an interest in manufacturing and a desire to learn all area's of manufacturing

    Working Hours of a Workshop Engineer

    Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

    Pay Rate of a Workshop Engineer

    £11.00 per hour starting rate. increasing to £12.50 once trained

    Main duties of a Workshop Engineer

    • Use of hand tools, drills, saws, presses to make finished product
    • Cutting, drilling, fabricating, welding
    • Manufacturing finished products to specifications
    • Adhering to health and safety
    • Working in a small team of 8

    Personal specification of a Maintenance Operative:

    • Some relevant experience with 1 or more of the above would be desired - be in formal training, "on the job"
    • No exact experience necessary Full training provided
    • Must be keen, willing to learn and able to take clear instruction
