    Children Home Registered Manager
    Weare seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to overseethe operations and care provision at our children's home.

    As theRegistered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the homeoperates efficiently, adheres to all regulatory standards, andprovides a nurturing and safe environment for children in our care.

    Ensure the home meets all statutory andregulatory requirements, including Ofsted regulations and Children'sHome Standards.

    Care Planning and Provision:

    Oversee the development and implementation of care planstailored to each child's needs, ensuring their emotional, physical,and educational needs are met.


    Staff Recruitment andDevelopment:
    Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled team ofcare professionals, fostering continuous professional development andhigh standards of care.

    Budget Management:
    Manage the home's budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocatedappropriately to meet the needs of the children.

    Quality Assurance:
    Implement robust qualityassurance processes to monitor and enhance the quality of care andsupport provided.
    Build and maintain effective relationships with externalagencies, local authorities, and stakeholders involved in the care ofchildren.

    Safeguarding:

    Maintain a strongfocus on safeguarding and child protection, ensuring all staff aretrained and vigilant in identifying and responding to safeguardingconcerns.

    Ensure accurateand timely record keeping, including care plans, risk assessments, andincident reports.

    Promotion of Children Rights:

    Advocate for the rights and best interests of the childrenin our care, empowering them to participate in decisions affectingtheir lives.

    Registered Manager with relevant qualifications ( NVQLevel 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare) andexperience working in a managerial capacity within a childrenresidential setting.

    Thorough understanding of relevantlegislation, regulations, and standards pertaining to childrenresidential care.
    Commitmentto promoting the welfare and development of children and young people.
    IT literate, with proficiency inusing relevant software for record keeping and reporting.
