    The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role is to support Babraham Campus Engineering Department within the Babraham Institute buildings located on the Babraham Research Campus. This includes working on motors, controllers, lighting control systems and LV distribution, as well as opportunities to work on small electrical projects and installation.

    The post is within a small in-house maintenance team carrying out day to day remedial and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to maintain the institutes operations and compliance for all relevant regulations and legislation.

    The successful candidate will hold a BTech or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of operation and maintenance of electrical supplies and M&E Engineering Services, proven experience in identifying electrical faults and carrying out repairs.

    Specific training is a requirement within the post and is provided by the Institute.

    This role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) and requires the successful candidate to be onsite.
