Job Opening: Project Engineer

Location: Hunslet, Leeds (On-Site)

Salary: Competitive

An exciting opportunity has emerged at Facultatieve Technologies for a Project Engineer role. As an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experiencing growth, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The Project Engineer will oversee the end-to-end process of project management, from build and delivery to installation and sign-off.

This role involves working closely with various teams (design, production, procurement, commissioning) to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion. You will also conduct site visits, manage customer premises surveys, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will enjoy a mix of on-site visits (including international travel) and office work in Leeds. With ownership of 6 to 8 projects valued up to £6m each, you will lead projects from sale to completion, maintaining a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities:

Provide installation and commissioning programmes.
Create overall programmes for sales forecasting, contract management, and labour demands.
Monitor project progress and provide accurate programming information.
Liaise with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish work programmes.
Negotiate critical contractual dates and utilize project management tools.
Promote company image through professional planning and management control.
Assist in formulating company standards for project planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
Experience with engineering drawings.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work within budgets and deadlines.
Prince II qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
