- Perform month-end processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, such as journal entries, analysis of accruals/prepayments, and standardized financial reporting.
- Collaborate with branch and support center staff to investigate and resolve budget variances and month-end queries.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist branch teams during monthly stock counts and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Handle Government Returns.
- Prepare cash forecast reports.
- Generate weekly internal reports.
- Review and code invoices accurately.
- Participate in the annual audit process.
- Support the Accounts Payable department during peak periods.
- Prior experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
- AAT qualification or actively pursuing one.
- Proficiency in IT and data analysis tools, particularly Excel.

We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a prominent national hire company within a global group. We are looking for individuals with a background in Accounts or similar roles, along with an AAT qualification or currently working towards one.
