- Createand deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons to students ofvarying abilities and ages.
- Develop andimplement creative teaching strategies to meet the diverse learningneeds of students.
- Use a variety of assessmentmethods to evaluate student progress and provide constructivefeedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusiveclassroom environment that promotes respect andparticipation.
- Collaborate with colleagues todevelop and enhance the historycurriculum.
- Attend staff meetings andparticipate in professional developmentopportunities.
- Establish and maintain effectivecommunication with parents/guardians regarding their childsprogress andconcerns.
- Bachelorsdegree in Education History or a relatedfield.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orequivalent.
- Proven experience teaching historyat the primary or secondary level.
- Excellentknowledge of the history curriculum with the ability to effectivelyplan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Strongclassroom management and behaviour managementskills.
- Effective communication andinterpersonal skills.
- Ability to workcollaboratively in a teamorientedenvironment.
