    QTS Primary Teacher needed for maternity cover

    Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible work? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? A school in Stockton-on-Tees are needing an experienced KS2 teacher to cover a Y5 class Monday to Friday. This role is to start after the May half term till the end of the academic year. Interviews will take place before May half term.

    Role: QTS Primary Teacher needed maternity cover

    Hours: Monday to Friday

    Start: 03/06/24

    Pay: £ Daily rate (based on experience)

    Application end date: 03/05/24

    Key Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:

    • Plan and prepare creative and engaging lessons that coincide with the UK National Curriculum.
    • Adapt lessons to suit the needs of the class.
    • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Managing challenging behaviour in a positive manner.
    • Building healthy relationships with students, parents, and other members of staff.
    • Provide day to day support and guidance to pupils to enhance their life and social skills.

    Requirements:

    • MUST hold a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Experience within a primary teaching setting in the UK.
    • Have a passion for young children's education and shaping their future.
    • Committed to and supportive of positive behaviour management strategies.
