    Description

    Are you interested in starting a teaching career?

    If you have prior experience in schools but have never led a class, we have an excellent opportunity for you to become a Cover Supervisor through free training sessions.

    Job Overview:

    • Work across various curriculum areas and subjects
    • Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher
    • Ensure a safe and productive environment for students
    • Motivate and assist students in staying focused
    • Provide necessary materials for tasks
    • Write feedback for the returning teacher
    • Adhere to the school's behavior management policies

    Requirements:

    • Experience working with children, preferably up to Key stage 4
    • Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs
    • Display support, patience, and sensitivity
    • Ability to handle challenging situations with resilience
    • Knowledge of de-escalation techniques
    • Preferably hold GCSEs in Maths and English at level C or above

    Additional Criteria:

    • Right to work in the UK
    • Positive references for suitability
    • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to apply)
    • Completed or willingness to undergo Safeguarding training
    • Access to free CPD Training on various topics
