- Identify, define and implement the requirements of SHEQ&S policies, standards, processes and procedures to achieve and maintain world class SHEQ&S performance. To monitor and assess potential future Safety, Health, Security, Industrial Quality and Environmental issues to determine the impact on and or from future business strategy.
- To manage the functional leadership for external interactions with regulatory bodies such as the HSE, EA, BSI, Koura/Orbia corporate HSE functions to represent the Koura UK position for SHEQ&S reporting, meetings, reviews, audits, inspections, visits etc.
- To manage all regulatory licenses and permits e.g. Maintain oversight, provide necessary direction and support the process safety management (PSM) and behavioral safety improvement processes across the business by leveraging the strengths and resources within the SHEQ&S team.
- Manage, via team, the deliverance of a technical training and competence management system which ensures that technical and operational staff are trained and deemed competent to carry out their role using latest thinking.
- NEBOSH diploma would be essential.
- An established technical background with 10 years' experience in a production or operations environment and a minimum of 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper tier COMAH site (or equivalent).
