    Bank Ward Clerk | Macclesfield | Private healthcare | Flexible hours | £11.45 per hour

    Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield has an opportunity for a Bank Ward Clerk to join their team, on a bank/occasional basis to cover annual leave and sickness.

    Contract type:
    Bank, Zero hours
    Any time between 7 am and 7 pm Monday to Friday. Weekends available.
    Greet and receive patients, visitors and other members of staff to the wards in a polite and professional manner and to undertake general reception duties
    Answer the telephone and relay accurate messages as appropriate
    Reports complaints or concerns to the Nurse in charge/shift leader
    Liaise with the all relevant department and the patient to ensure accurate data in the system (admissions, discharge and transfer of patients)
    Booking of outpatients' appointments on the system or with the relevant hospital departments and the arranging of transport
    Ensure discharge notes are completed by the medical staff and sent to GP's within 24 hours of discharge and results are filed prior to leaving ward
    Computer literate
