    Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC.

    It was established by Dundee City Council to provide leisure, sports, library, information, and cultural services for the city.

    Here's a fantastic opportunity to be part of the school age Athletics Programme based in the Regional Performance Centre.

    We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and dynamic casual coaches to lead engaging sessions for children. When opportunities arise, you will be contacted.

    Leisure & Culture Dundee is not obligated to offer you work, and you are not required to accept work.

    The hourly pay rate is £11.96.

    Requirements
    - Hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification)

    Responsibilities

    As a Sports Coach, you will lead in teaching/coaching various client groups of different abilities.

    Lead the delivery of a progressive program, update participant records, check teaching equipment, and ensure a safe environment at all times.

    The Individual
    You should have experience in Athletics coaching, working with children from various backgrounds, planning structured activities, exceptional organizational skills, team collaboration ability.

    Also, possess strong self-motivation, effective communication with children/young people, interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, and leadership qualities.

    Demonstrate the ability to motivate, work independently, work flexible hours including weekends, and commit to personal growth.

    This position involves Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.

    Preferred candidates need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a check before a formal offer of employment by Leisure and Culture Dundee.
