Description
To be the technical specialist for designated stores responsible for undertaking first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, Automatic Pedestrian Gates.
To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
To fully complete all paperwork required by the Company to measure performance of service and undertake surveys as requested.
Carry out required Fire PPM visits to BS5839To ensure Fire alarm systems are in compliance with BS 5839 and report defects as necessary
To be proficient in the use of written and verbal communication, report writing and recording procedures.
To notify the company helpdesk of procedural task condition on cessation of works.
To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the supervisor / technical specialist.
All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.
To be proficient in the use of written and verbal communication, report writing and recording procedures.To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical and business developments.
Ensure all mandatory Evolve on-line training modules are completed.To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
To work with company and ASDA colleagues to ensure that laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)CCTV IP/analogue systems
Fire alarm systems
Ability to maintain and repair a range of Fire, CCTV products and specific EAS systems (Sensormatic)
IPAF licence holder
Current driving licence
Ability to distinguish colours to the standard required for maintenance and repair of electrical/ electronic equipment and appliances
Willingness to work flexible hours
