Description
The Excavation Trainer will perform all training, assessment and certification of civils/excavation operators for the business and support of the company's values.
To work in conjunction with the training team to develop added value training solutions in support of business needs now and in the future.
This role will be responsible for delivering training to our staff covering the UK, the postholder must hold a current driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home for periods of time (expenses will be covered).
To facilitate and maintain an effective communication flow and to build strong partnerships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to meet site requirements for civils (excavation) training/assessing and certification.
To deliver various generic and specialised training and assessments around the UK and Internationally
DVLA, CITB, NPORS, VOSA) and company standards
To develop new training material and review all existing training/learning material and where appropriate bring in line with the agreed standard/company branding.
Hold relevant accreditation to train EUSR, NPORS, CPCS or alternative awarding bodies
Training experience in health and safety, transport, plant, and construction safety would be an advantage.
Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Relevant training qualifications, TAQA, A1 or D32/33 workplace assessor qualification would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
Understanding of the training cycle, planning, development, delivering and evaluating training.
Current driving licence
Ability to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home for periods of time
