    Description
    Software Tester required to support an established, busy and personable team. This position is paying an annual salary between £30,000 - £40,000. Working hours are Monday
    • Friday, 8.
    30am - 5.30pm.

    The Software Tester will play a crucial role in the development team, responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.

    You will also review system requirements and track QA metrics.

    The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and possess a solid background in software development and testing methodologies.


    Duties:


    Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product qualityCreate detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test casesIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsPerform regression testing when bugs are resolvedInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and feedback to developersReview requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackBenefits:£30,000 - £40,000 per annum20 days holiday plus bank holidaysOnsite car parkingExperience required:Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on web applications developed with ASP.

    NET and Razor PagesExperience with automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver for web application testingExperience in API testing, preferably with Insomnia/Postman or similar toolsExperience in unit testing with a solid understanding of either NUnit or xUnit frameworksFamiliarity with test-driven development (TDD) practices and the ability to implement testing strategies effectively
