- To drive procurement projects and cost reductions across Indirect spend with the aim to improve the group's overall EBITA.
- To identify and develop new strategies, suppliers, and business opportunities within indirect procurement and set long-term plans for the indirect spend aligned to Stakeholder Budgets, Projects and Engagement.
- To lead operational procurement for business support by category / function.
- To provide support to assess and report on new technology/services and applications.
- To drive proposal costings within the team
- Present findings and recommendations to Management teams.
- To develop and maintain Supplier Relationships.
- To develop and maintain Stakeholder Management, internal and external
- To provide a role model for Senior Buyers and Buyers.
- To ensure all activities undertaken are in line with current policies and procedures.
- To manage the day to day running of the Purchasing Department and all activities associated with it.
- Certificate of Higher Education in Purchasing/Business Studies or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Management or Leadership Role is desirable.
- Previous experience in Automotive purchasing and procurement is desirable.
- Proven experience in negotiating.
- Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Proficiency in cross functional, cross company, and cross-sectional processes.
- Works well under pressure and has a passion for delivering objectives.
- Computer literate – Microsoft office suite and previous experience with an ERP system would be beneficial.
- Resourceful attitude with flexible and proactive approach.
- Proven track record for project management.
- Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.

Description
The role of the Indirect Procurement Manager is to source business services and lead operational procurement activity in relation to business support and indirect spend. Managed services such as IT, Facilities, HR, plant, stationary etc. This includes maintaining a supplier base acceptable for our requirements. The role will support internal functions / stakeholders as and when necessary help development procurement processes, ensure corporate governance, and manage supplier performance. Crucial to the success of this role is the development and implementation of category/functional strategies that effectively form part of the overall department and business strategies. You will be responsible for achieving the SMART objects set for you with quarterly reviews. you will also be responsible for input into the weekly reports and KPI's.Key Responsibilities
