    About the Role

    As a Data Science Degree Apprentice, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop your skills and knowledge in data science while earning a degree. This is a pioneering new role in our UK company, working within our UK Business Development, Insights and Research Function, with access to a career development Coach and the opportunity to knowledge share and connect to other data science roles in our global group of companies.

    Your Role:

    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing data for analysis.
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
    • Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition.
    • Collaborate with our strategic advisors, cross-industry leaders and business development teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
    • Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate model performance.
    • Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in data science and related fields.

    You will be part of innovating our approach to data enabled market insights and contribute to our future growth of the UK business, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, statistical modelling, and data visualization. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to combine academic learning with practical work experience, preparing you for a rewarding career in the field of data science and consulting.

    Your profile:

    • BBB at A Level including Maths or L4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship at Distinction or Merit
    • Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with data.
    • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
    • Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
