    Description

    We have partnered with a well established UK lender specialising in Mortgage products.

    Responsible for the successful processing of loans through the complete application lifecycle through to release.

    Working with both intermediary's and internal BDM's as well as other internal teams and senior underwriters to ensure a successful process.

    Assess loan applications and all relevant documentation and ensure completeness to internal standardsnCase ownership throughout the cycle - driving process forwardnLiaison with all 3rd parties, solicitors, other financial institutions etcnTracking all applications on internal systemsnProduction and despatch of offers in compliance with internal policynConduct all checks to ensure loan is compliant with policynApprove loan offers presented by assessors within authority limits and submit further recommendations if needednAdherence to internal 'within guideline' or 'outside guideline' approval processnAdvise on process improvements and efficiencies where applicablenAttend meetings as requirednAd-Hoc tasks as required by underwriting managers and Head of Loans

    Candidate profile

    Experience working in a mortgage underwriting or assessor rolenKnowledge of Buy to Let (BTL), Owner Occupier and HMO productsnKnowledge of current FCA guidelinesnExperience of working with manual underwriting processesnFull right to work in the UKnAble to travel to office location 1 day pw
