- Lead the development of Advanced Work Packaging in the Construction Department
- Conduct construction feasibility and method studies
- Collaborate with the planning group to establish realistic construction schedules
- Assist the Construction Manager in defining the project's contracting approach and ensuring timely production of contract deliverables
- Create plans, drawings, and specifications for temporary facilities and construction equipment
- Design temporary facility layouts, transportation plans, and heavy lift studies
- Develop transportation and lifting schedules in alignment with project requirements
- Review project estimates and construction deliverables to meet project needs
- Manage construction documents using the Wood Document Management System
- Identify and address critical execution issues in the construction plan
- Participate in training activities for Construction Engineers
- Engaging and impactful projects for industry leaders in various energy sectors

- HSE qualification preferred e.g. NEBOSH
- Experience in downstream oil and gas EPC and FEED projects
- Work experience with major clients like Shell, Exxon Mobil, Aramco, SABIC, KNPC, ADNOC, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Work Packaging and Completion data systems
- Proficiency in planning construction logistics and execution
- Ability to lead constructability in construction projects

Description
We are looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to join our team at the Home Office in Reading. In this role, you will play a key part in the Construction Department's growth and contribute to FEED/EPCm projects. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Construction Engineering Manager as part of the Construction Engineering Team.
This position is ideal for a skilled Senior Construction Engineer with hands-on experience in site construction, proficiency in developing construction methodologies, and a systematic approach to work packaging.
Being open to business trips and project assignments is essential for successful construction execution as part of this role.
