- Have extensive and recent post-qualification experience of working with children and families in a statutory setting, including Fostering
- Have experience in working with foster carers and /or children in care
- Have experience of chairing decision making meetings
- Have experience of working together with a variety of professionals
- Have experience of writing complex reports to a high standard
- Have knowledge of fostering regulations and statutory requirements
- Have knowledge of impact of trauma on children in care, and an understanding of therapeutic parenting

About the Role
We are inviting applications from experienced Social Workers who are passionate, self-motivated and committed to ensuring high quality care for our children in care, recognising the vital role foster carers play. You will be part of a strong and motivated fostering service and employed as a part time (18.5hrs) Fostering Reviewing Officer, working alongside our current Reviewing Officer. You will report directly to Fostering Assistant Service Manager. Your role will be to complete Annual reviews for Specialist mainstream, and kinship carers and Supported Lodging Hosts.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
