    Senior Accountant - Group Reporting

Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant - Group Reporting, you will collaborate with the Group Reporting Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of group accounting and reporting tasks, including:
    • Preparation of consolidated IFRS group accounts and UK statutory accounts for subsidiary companies.
    • Managing inter-company reconciliations.
    • Consolidating forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, along with supplementary group reporting including cashflow and net working capital analysis.
    • Coordinating management reporting packs for the UK and German boards.
    • Handling corporation tax accounting and submissions, including liaison with tax advisors.
    • Coordinating the annual external audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations.
    • Providing training and guidance to the Management Accounts team and supporting with technical finance matters.
    • Acting as a key contact for Group Finance and mentoring the Assistant Reporting Accountant.
    Requirements: Experience:
    • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
    • Strong experience in group consolidation, technical financial accounting, and reporting.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
    Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
    • Ability to explain financial results clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
    • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with financial systems, preferably SAP and Cognos Controller.
    • Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS standards, and corporation tax accounting.
