Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller. As the Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management and stock control processes. This is a critical role in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems liasing with Planning, Estimating and Sales department.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate favourable terms researching new products or suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate demand to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement efficient stock control procedures to optimise inventory accuracy and minimize losses
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any issues
- Analyse data and generate reports on stock levels, trends, and performance metrics.
- Present cost analysis to the Warehouse Manager.
- Raw material ordering and goods receipting.
- Maintaining records of supplier contracts.
- Building relationships with suppliers.
- Manage nonconformance with suppliers, aligned with company policy and procedures.
- Communicate to the key stake holders about delays or problems with suppliers.
- Updating all stock related information on Tharstern computer system.
- Compliance control of raw material paperwork to BRCGS and ISO standards.
- Implementing and improving processes or procedures.
- Willing to learn and develop to deputise for the Warehouse Manager.
- Handling queries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Following the company rules and policies.
- Attending training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Proficient in using inventory management systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers
- Detailoriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with suppliers, customers, and other team members.

Salary based on experience. _

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
