- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitoring: Monitor and assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment. Implement and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about the care plan, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
- Adherence to Protocols: Adhere to hospital and unit policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies within the ICU, following established protocols and procedures.
- Registered Nurse (RN): Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or relevant licensing body.
- ICU Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (e.g., CCRN) is a plus.
- Clinical Skills: Proficient in advanced nursing procedures and technologies related to critical care.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
