    Do you have a passion for Cyber Security?

    Are you not progressing within Cyber Security as you'd hoped?

    Do you want to be mentored by a leader in the Information Security space?

    Do you have at least 6 months experience in an information security role of some sort?

    If you answered yes, then I would love to speak to you about a great opportunity we have in Reading, Berkshire. Great, because you will have the opportunity to be the first hire of a new UK Cyber Sec team, and get the opportunity of 1-2-1 in person mentorship from a leader in this space. You will also be working with a CyberSec team in the US, who you will also be learning from.

    We are looking for someone with around 6 months experience within any aspect of Cyber/Information Security and perhaps a certification or some form of self learning. We want to see that passion and interest you have for this space.

    Ideally you will have some of the following knowledge and experience:

    • Cybersecurity threat hunting or Security Operations Centre / Managed Detection and Response (MDR/SOC) or in-house Security Operations
    • Any industry recognized Information Security accreditation (SANS GSOC, CISSP, CSOP)
    • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks and how to translate tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP's)
    • Knowledge working with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) such as SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Carbon Black or Sophos.
    • Knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts aligned with the CIS Top 18, and how to implement technical controls to monitor and address these risk

    The role would be based in Reading, Berkshire 3 days per week. - You must be a commutable distance from Reading currently. (No further than Ealing to the East and Swindon to the West if commuting by train)

    Salary very much dependant on experience and level of passion and knowledge of CyberSec, but expectation is around £30-50k pa.

    This would suit someone who wants to learn from others to become a future expert in the field.
