    Description

    Successful engineering services business requires an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The role is field based - working from home and travelling to client sites across the central belt of Scotland. Providing maintenance, support and installation services across various extraction and industrial engineering equipment.

    This role will provide variety of work and the chance to move away from shift patterns / weekend working as the role is Mon-Friday 9-5pm. Will suit a factory maintenance engineer or similar who is looking for a better working pattern and variety of technical work to challenge them and improve their skills.

    Responsibilities will include:-

    • Perform PPM checks on a range of equipment, to ensure regulatory compliance. Machines will vary from complex LEV systems to workshop equipment.
    • Carry out investigationsand repair faults with field-based equipment at client sites
    • Prepare reports on findings
    • Conduct installations, modifications, and upgrades to machinery and systems as necessary, encompassing both electrical and mechanical aspects.

    Applicants should have a minimum of 12mths time served experience after Electrical apprenticeship or study.Ideally youll also have worked on any of the following types of equipment: -

    • Extraction systems with fan units
    • Transducers, Pressure Switches, Emergency Control Relays
    • PLC Units, Solenoids, Single & Three-phase motors
    • Bearings, Fans, and Impellers
