    THE ROLE
    BBC Studios now have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Data Analyst within our award winning International News division.

    Working within our Consumer Growth and Monetisation team the Audience Growth analyst will have a passion for data, discovery and visualization across multiple data points and a hunger to learn and work within the fields of SEO, Search and marketing channel analytics.

    This role will support data driven decision making, leveraging search data from the Google ecosystem, ad performance data from Meta as well as audience profile and behavioural data from web analytics tools such as Piano and data from other proprietary systems

    Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst this is a full-time hybrid working position based in London.

    What you will do

    Build and maintain data pipelines which move and transform SEO and performance marketing data. This includes writing code which is version controlled - e.g. Github.

    Use this data to develop and maintain metrics, dashboards and automated reports.

    Communicate your work effectively with a range of stakeholders across UK and US timezones.

    Contribute and collaborate as part of cross-functional teams including product experts, data scientists and engineers.

    Continuously explore opportunities for growth to make you more impactful in the SEO space for traffic growth and monetization.

    Manage internal team KPI tracking and help set goals and benchmarks.

    Create feedback loops to iterate on reports, dashboards and processes.

    Develop useful data-related tools and resources for internal company use.

    Write documentation on analytical setup and tracking implementation.

    WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

    What we need from you

    Strong experience with SQL ideally in BigQuery or snowflake environments.

    Working knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform to help maintain and manage existing and new datasets, tables and views.

    Experience of marketing channel analysis and optimisation.

    Experience of transforming and analysing data from Meta ad manager.

    Experience with Google Looker Studio and/or Tableau.

    Experience with Google sheets / Microsoft excel and their scripting functionality.

    The ability to write code/scripts to manage APIs from 3rd party tools and analytics.

    Experience writing documentation and maintaining knowledge hubs.

    Strong organizational and project management skills.

    Skills we desire

    Previous experience working with Search/SEO data.

    A familiarity with regular expressions (regex).

    JavaScript and basic HTML/CSS coding.

    NewzDash or News Dashboard

    Google Trends
