    Multi Activity Instructor - Summer Camp - Bedford, Bedfordshire

    Hours: 08:30 – 17:00

    Salary: £405.69 – £530.76 per week based on age, experience, and qualifications

    Reporting to: Camp Senior Team, Area Manager and Central Office

    MULTI ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR DUTIES

    • Set up and maintain Multi Activity area for children
    • Ensure fun and safe environment following procedures
    • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions
    • Provide safety instructions and supervise children
    • Complete session paperwork accurately
    • Encourage maximum participation
    • Work with other staff members
    • Check equipment regularly
    • Ensure general welfare and safety
    • Lead Motor Mania skills builder course
    • Maintain site cleanliness and equipment organization
    • Ensure safe equipment use

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Complete a FREE 1-day Multi Activity course
    • Minimum age of 18
    • Eligibility to work in the UK
    • Positive, organized, and communicative
    • Enhanced DBS check needed
    • Attend required training events
    • Assist with end-of-camp activities

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure Health and Safety compliance
    • Organize suitable activities for children
    • Encourage participation in activities
    • Monitor children's behavior and whereabouts
    • Follow camp systems diligently
    • Be a positive role model for children
    • Report any child protection concerns
    • Accommodate children with additional needs
    • Deliver Skills Builder sessions if needed
    • Support swimming sessions
    • Perform tasks as required

    The role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. Guidelines on disclosure can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
