A Curriculum Manager in Health oversees the development and management of our healthcare related academic programmes and courses, while promoting high standards of teaching themselves, alongside striving to demonstrate the efficient delivery of learning & support for both students and staff.
You would work closely with the college to design and update curriculum content, ensuring it meets regulatory standards, industry requirements and educational objectives.
This includes integrating current healthcare practices, technologies and research into the curriculum.You will collaborate with external partners such as healthcare providers and regulatory bodies to stay abreast of industry trends and ensure program relevance.
Additionally, you will monitor student progress, evaluate teaching methods and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes and student success in healthcare related fields.
Lead and manage a team of academic staff providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities to ensure effective teaching and student support, whilst also maintaining an active teaching role within the departmentCoordinate team efforts to develop and implement student support strategies such as tutoring programmes, academic advising and learning resources, to meet diverse student needs
Engage with student feedback mechanisms (surveys etc) to gather insights and data for continuous improvement of teaching practices, curriculum design and student support initiatives, while actively teaching and interacting with students
Collaborate with the college to ensure curriculum alignment with regulatory standards and industry requirements
Integrate current healthcare practices, technologies and research into the curriculum
Implement strategies to enhance teaching methods and student access
Advanced degree (such as masters or doctorate) in a relevant field like Health Sciences, Education or Healthcare Management would be advantageous
Significant experience in curriculum development, teaching and management, preferable in a healthcare or educational setting
Passion for education and a commitment to enhancing students learning and success.
Proactive and forward thinking mindset to drive continuous improvement in curriculum design and implementation
