    Sheffield - Hybrid

    About the Job

    • Work in a team to design, build, test, and implement industrial control systems (hardware and software) using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software, and Industrial Network solutions
    • Configuration of PC software for user interface and data processing functions
    • Integrate software using standard protocols and custom developed scripts
    • Work across various offices and client sites throughout the UK when needed

    Salary: Starting at £35,000.00, based on experience

    Roles and Responsibilities Summary

    • Design, develop, program, and test innovative solutions under guidance
    • Resolve hardware and software challenges
    • Design cyber-secure infrastructure and communication using industry standards
    • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards
    • Supervise assembly, electrical testing, installation, and commissioning of solutions
    • Provide support and mentoring to junior engineers

    Requirements

    • Control system project delivery experience
    • Understanding of electrical system drawings
    • Knowledge of IT/OT Technologies and development
    • Quality Management System awareness
    • Windows Operating System configuration knowledge
    • Experience with Siemens PLCs/HMIs/DCS/Drives

    Skills and Abilities

    • Create technical documentation for project life cycles
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
    • Estimate time and costs for tasks
    • Capable of operating self-sufficiently on customer premises
    • Demonstrate commercial awareness and diligence
