    Compass Associates are working with nationally recognised, industry leading care provider to recruit for a Regional Clinical Lead Nurse to lead the team of Nurses and Care Givers in the North.

    The group is rated outstanding with the Care Quality Commission and is a registered provider with CIW in Wales.

    There is an expectation that the successful candidate will travel across the remit to meet with clients and patients in order to build relationships and offer the best care possible.

    Mileage will be reimbursed, and the working week will be split between travelling (2-3 days per week) and working from home (2-3 days per week).

    Attend meetings and liaise with case managers, GPs and other health professionals to ensure that clients receive the medical and clinical support they require
    Ensure clinical assessments and risk assessments are undertaken and are bespoke to the individual needs of the client and undertake regular formal reviews
    Plan and deliver training and delegation of clinical task as required to reflect the needs of the client and the support workers ensuring completion of the relevant documentation
    Ensure safe Management of medications as per company policy
    Report and investigate any concerns around safeguarding issues , incident, accidents or near misses in line with company procedures in liaison with the Clinical Director
    Participate in the clinical on call rota to ensure effective clinical support is available across the company at all times
    You must be a Registered Nurse (Adult or Child)
    Active NMC Pin
    Minimum of 5 years clinical experience ideally with skills and knowledge from Intensive Care/ Trauma/ Spinal Injury Unit/ Neurological Rehabilitation unit
    Experience of working within a Complex / Critical care setting is essential, such as ICU, ITU, CCU, HDU, A&E, Anaesthesia, and Theatre
    Training in tracheostomy, ventilator management and PEG feeds highly desirable
    Passionate in promoting independence for those needing care from long term conditions
    Must possess a clean UK driving licence with own car and happy with the travel needed

    This will be a two stage process, stage one being an informal teams conversation with a Senior Clinician and another member of the SMT.
