Our client is an innovative, market leading business who operate within the FMCG market out of modern offices in Crawley, West Sussex.

Working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, you will join the business has a hands-on Finance Director, leadinga small finance team who are responsible for the day to day accounting.

This is a critical post within the leadership team offering the opportunity to facilitate and support operations and key financial control.


You will be enthusiastic about getting your hands dirty in the real technicalities of a finance function, leading your team through financial challenges and successfully implementing planned and agreed strategy.

You will also have direct responsibility forimprovement to company performance allowing you to reap rewards through your commercial judgement and corporate responsibilities.

This represents an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Finance Director to become an integral part of the company's future.

Your duties as Finance Director will include:

  • Managing a small team of direct reports
  • Working directly with the Board, being the Finance Business Partner who provides financial expertise and guidance
  • Cost Improvement Analysis
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining key relationships
  • Multicurrency transactions

Our client is looking for the following attributes:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Extensive FMCG or similar industry experience
  • Technically focused with proven business partnering ability
  • A background which demonstrates working at a strategic level along with excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems


Along with a generous basic salary, an excelent pension and bonus of up to 20% is included in the remuneration package.
