An exciting position has become available for an IT Field Support Engineer to join a friendly and dedicated team based in the South East.

As an IT Field Support Engineer, you will be travelling to sites to resolve connectivity, device and telephony incidents that have been raised to the ICT Service Desk or with equipment that requires maintenance, other work will include setting up new sites,site decommissions and site moves with the ICT requirements, from start to finish as well as other tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Providing onsite technical support to customers
Troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software incidents/problems
Incident and problem management
Contribute to policies, processes and procedures
Deployment and maintenance of new and existing hardware (laptops, desktops, phones, etc)
Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to service management principles (ITIL)
Accurately record, update and document requests

Key Skills Required:
years+ previous experience of working in an IT Engineering/Analyst related environment

Strong understanding of IP Networks and infrastructure for data and voice
Experience of installing and supporting modern desktop and laptop hardware
Experience of Active Directory and VPN technologies
Good working knowledge of routers, wireless access points and broadband technologies
Incident and change management experience
Printers, MFDs, and scanners
Cat5e cabling/structured cabling

Salary:
£29,500 per annum, plus company vehicle

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility around hours and overnight stays may be required
