Join their dynamic team as they continue to grow and succeed as a visionary Head of Creative and Content to lead the team to new heights.
The role in a nutshell:
As the Head of Creative and Content, you'll steer our creative vision and content strategy, inspiring a team of talented professionals to produce innovative and engaging multimedia content that captivates our audience and elevates our brand. This role is perfect for a creative powerhouse with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a love for the open sea.
The successful candidate will articulate their ideas clearly to both the senior directors and stakeholders which includes the brand and marketing team. Their expertise should lie in outlining the stylistic nuances of each project, ensuring consistency and alignment with the companies' brand identity, whilst understanding the core commercial objectives. The commercial return and successful metrics of every campaign will be at the heart of everything they do. The collaboration with the brand and commercial teams to gain insight into the performance of creative efforts, and identifying successful strategies and areas for improvement to evolve our creative direction effectively is a crucial part of this role.
Key Job Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company objectives and target audience.
•Lead and inspire a team of creatives ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
•Work at a senior management level cross functionally with marketing, digital, product and commercial teams
•Lead all new season creative identity, campaigns, and projects.
•Drive the development of compelling visual and written content including blogs, adverts, emails and video and social media.
•Understand business objectives and target, adjusting projects accordingly to meet them.
•Develop and oversee the creative vision and concepts behind multi-channel projects/campaigns at the highest level.
•Be a champion and guardian of our brands visual identity in the UK by creating and enforcing design and branding guidelines.
•Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand's mission and business goals and resonates with our diverse audience.
•Lead, mentor, and expand our creative team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
•Oversee the creation of compelling content across multiple platforms (digital, social media, print, onboard programming) to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
•Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and a unified customer experience.
•Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices in content creation and distribution to keep our brand at the forefront of the cruise industry.
About you...
•5+ years' experience in a leadership role, ideally in a creative agency, or client-side design team, working across multiple brands.
•Experience of working within the luxury travel industry or with travel/luxury clients.
•Demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business results.
•Strong creative and conceptual vision, bringing stakeholders on the journey to execute high quality integrated campaigns.
•Experience working with Adobe creative suite.
•Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines.
•Creative thinker with a commercial mindset, understanding the impact design has on conversion.
•Excellent project management and organisational skills.
•Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
