- Lead on community focused initiatives to drive local employment opportunities at Canary Wharf Group (CWG) companies and those of CWG customers.
- Implement a strategy to drive the maximum social value creation through these employment initiatives.
- Design and implement programmes to be delivered by members of the ESG Team and the wider business.
- Create relevant process and procedures to ensure high quality and impactful projects.
- Ensure that volunteer opportunities are created alongside to engage CWG people and maximise the social value delivered.
- Liaise with the CWG People and Development Team to ensure that all projects are supporting the wider employment needs and opportunities that exist in the business.
- Maintain relationships with external partners supporting the delivery of the employment strategy.
- Ensure all required data is captured for Social Value and S106 monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Support in the administration of the CWG Community Grant Programme advising on applications to support the Jobs and Skills Theme.
- Build a local network of community organisations who are supporting the agenda of Job and Skills in Tower Hamlets to engage or partner with in delivery of CWG strategy.
- Manage allocated budget and administration of this in Yardi system.
- Support line manager with implementation of overarching Social Value Strategy, delivery of reporting and KPI's.
- Support line manager with wider CSR & Community deliverables such as writing newsletters and web content, answering queries and attending meetings.
- Previous experience in a CSR or related role is essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must be a team player with a willingness to help others.
- Flexible, organised and calm approach to work is essential.
- Capable of working under own initiative
- The successful candidate must be able to communicate at all levels, work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to work.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the Canary Wharf Group (CWG) local employment initiatives, building a strategy that supports the delivery of Social Value in the communities we serve, engages our people and aligns with our purpose to bring people together to enhance lives now, and in the future.Annual Salary: circa £50k dependent on experience
