RESPSONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for all sales and business development activities and will therefore require a self-starter mindset. You will define, and execute sales, and business development strategies to expand the company's markets, market share, and improve the overall profitability of the business.
Working closely with Builders Merchants, Roofing & Timber Merchants/Distributors, DIY, and more, you'll identify new opportunities by targeting site-based contractors and Housebuilders creating the demand and back selling through the distribution channel.
Delivering products demonstrations, sales pitches and training to builder's merchant channel and ensuring your products are sold as their preferred choice.
Delivering sales pitches, product demonstrations and training to key stakeholders with the housebuilder and contractors' market to adhere to/break specification when needed and ensure your products are utilised within all current and future projects.
Agree, monitor and achieve individual sales targets, make sure at all times that you are familiar with all company products and processes.
To keep an accurate log of projects [Project Track / Must Wins] and monitor progress of each project to its conclusion, nurturing these relationships.
You'll already have a ledger of spending accounts as it's a warm territory so with your contribution and sales expertise, you'll turn all these accounts into top spending customers, plus you'll be expected to add new clients to the ledger.
Manage & maintain relationships with existing accounts as well as increase revenue via new accounts within the building product sector
Deliver monthly promotions and achieve targets set on specific products, present feedback on performances and results.
