THE ROLE
A Professional Support Lawyer Dispute Resolution is now sought to be based in London
You will work alongside the existing PSL team to ensure that a consistent level of quality support is offered to the firm's teams worldwide.
This role is for an experienced PSL who is not expected to undertake client matters but work closely with the Global Heads of the Dispute Resolution practice and relevant partners.
Primary responsibilities include:
Reviewing, drafting and maintaining precedents, legal guides and practice notes
Researching, monitoring, analysing and informing the Dispute Resolution practice of legal and industry developments and trends, articulating how they will affect the practice and its clients
Drafting and coordinating current awareness updates, client alerts and other publications
Developing, organising and maintaining an effective system for the collection of knowledge resources, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that a comprehensive set of first-class materials is accessible to all lawyers
Coordinating internal and external training sessions and speakers on relevant legal and regulatory matters. This might include preparing and delivering training, where appropriate
Responding to queries from lawyers and track queries to identify knowhow and training needs
Actively contribute to a culture of valuing and leveraging knowledge
Producing high quality and complex research
ABOUT YOU
With experience in complex international commercial litigation from a recognised leading law firm in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction, experience working as a PSL is required
Current experience of knowledge management technology and document automation systems would be an advantage
You will have an enthusiasm for developing knowledge systems, improving access and understanding amongst the team, outstanding drafting and technical skills and a strong academic background
