    2024 Off-cycle Intern Program - Global Banking Global Lending Unit (GLU)

    Do you want to enhance your understanding of corporate finance and capital markets? Here are some exciting tasks you could be involved in:

    • Gain insights into how various clients operate their businesses and align with strategic objectives;
    • Contribute to M&A advice and execution, including spinoffs, takeovers, and joint ventures;
    • Explore IPOs, capital raising, and market dynamics;
    • Engage with the equities platform to understand investor perspectives and trends;
    • Learn about debt capital markets and structured products;
    • Develop strategies to maximize client objectives in complex situations.

    Your team



    You'll work within the Investment Bank's Global Banking (GB) unit. You'll collaborate with country, sector, or product teams to provide advisory and financing solutions to various clients.

    Your expertise



    To be eligible, you should be in your penultimate or final year of studies or have graduated within the last 6 months. Also, you should aim for a 2:1 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree. Your field of study is not a factor, but we look for evidence that you can:

    • Analyze and solve problems effectively;
    • Plan, organize, and communicate efficiently;
    • Demonstrate initiative and follow through on tasks;
    • Work well in teams;
    • Generate innovative ideas.
    We appreciate candidates with data analysis skills and proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    During the internship, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and build industry connections. If you excel, you may even have the opportunity to join our Graduate Talent Program post-graduation.
